Convert multiple HEIC images in one task

Select several .heic files, start one batch conversion, and download the successful JPG results. Each HEIC image becomes a separate JPG rather than being merged into one image or PDF.

Batch input

Choose multiple HEIC images and review the displayed file count and total size.

Separate output

Each successful source image produces its own downloadable JPG result.

How to Batch Convert HEIC to JPG

Select multiple HEIC images, review the task, convert them to JPG, and download the completed results.

  1. 1

    Choose multiple HEIC files

Select several .heic images from your device or drop them into the upload area.

  2. 2

    Review the selected files

Check the displayed file count and total size. Remove any file that should not be included in the batch.

  3. 3

    Start the batch conversion

Choose Convert files to JPG and wait for the selected files to finish processing.

  4. 4

Download and check the JPG results

Download each completed JPG and confirm its filename, dimensions, orientation, and visual quality before deleting the HEIC original.

Each HEIC Image Creates a Separate JPG Result

Batch conversion processes several source images in one task without combining them into a single image or document.

  • One source, one result: each successfully converted HEIC image produces an individual JPG.
  • Readable filenames: check each result filename before saving or sharing it.
  • Individual downloads: use the download action shown for each successful JPG.
  • Keep the originals: retain the HEIC files until all required JPG results have been opened and checked.

A batch is not a PDF merge

Use the HEIC to PDF page when the goal is a document. This page creates separate JPG image files.

Check Failed Files Without Losing Successful Results

A damaged, empty, unsupported, or unreadable file can fail while other selected images succeed. Review each result state instead of assuming the entire task has the same outcome.

  • Retry: use the available retry action for a failed file.
  • Remove: remove a file that should not remain in the task.
  • Download successful files: save and check completed JPG results separately from failed items.
  • Use the original file: retry with the original HEIC rather than a renamed or incomplete copy.

JPG Quality and File Size in a Batch

HEIC-to-JPG conversion requires JPEG encoding. The process should not be assumed to be lossless, and the JPG is not guaranteed to be smaller than the HEIC source.

  • Fine detail: inspect text, hair, foliage, textures, gradients, and sharp edges.
  • Dimensions: compare the output pixel dimensions with the source when size matters.
  • Orientation: confirm that every JPG appears upright.
  • File size: a JPG may be larger or smaller because HEIC and JPEG compress images differently.

Metadata, Multi-Image HEIC Files, and Live Photos

A HEIC file can include metadata, thumbnails, multiple images, HDR information, depth data, or content associated with a Live Photo. A JPG result may not retain all of this information.

  • EXIF and GPS: do not assume that location, timestamps, camera details, or other EXIF fields remain.
  • Additional images: do not assume that every image or auxiliary layer in the HEIC container is exported.
  • Live Photos: a JPG does not reproduce the motion-video portion of a Live Photo.
  • Original preservation: keep the HEIC source whenever metadata or additional content may be important.
